Getting to Siem Reap, Cambodia

We haven't done much in the last 24 hours, mainly getting to Siem Reap, Cambodia from Tonsai beach.
Our last days in Tonsai were a bit lame since we alternated spending 2 whole days in bed with a stomach bug or an acute case of dehydration. Nevertheless, Tonsai was a definite highlight and we can easily imagine going back for a longer period with a few friends.

  1. Oh very the poors but I see your sturdy constitutions have once again enabled you to move on in good health. It is fun to see pix of you on Jacadam's blog!

  2. Yeah, it is fun. We need to post a few photos but it was taking ages when we tried yesterday and other people were waiting to use computers. we will try again today.
Our healthy constitutions allowed us to enjoy a very delicious khmer dinner last night, yummy!

  3. Glad you went directly from Tonsai to Siem Reap sans passer par la case départ.:

"BANGKOK -- Tens of thousands of anti-government protesters poured into Bangkok on Sunday demanding that the government step down in what was one of the largest demonstrations in the recent tumultuous history of Thailand."

Marco was also roadtripping this week to San Francisco and Lake Tahoe.

  5. Laurette,

    Bises,

    Papa

  6. Mothe, we did go through Bangkok but only for an hour or so and noticed nothing. We did hear about it from a Dutch guy we shared a Taxi with from the border to Siem Reap. Hopefully things will be fine when we go back in a week or so for a couple days before heading north to Chang Mai (where you went with Virbac, right?)
Caz, We were sharing a scooter which Chris was piloting so it was fine. If you saw the stuff people carry here, a featherweight like me on the back is nothing!

  7. BG, Yes that is where we went with Virbac. Cool. I guess the scooter traffic reminded you of Morocco.

Cazaroo, It's time to get your blog up again as you promised some time ago ...
