  1. Another telepathic moment occurred as I clicked onto your blog to ask if it was over and joyfully came upon this new batch of photos.

    - I see Adam passed the coolness test and is a trendy enough mate to get a seat at La Civette. Congrats!

    - Of course Jacinta is almost a local since she has already lived in Nice so we know she's hip.

    - Laura, are you wearing Clark's desert boots like the ones Papa and I wore in the 1970's ? So cute. Of course I especially love the pic of you in our kitchen -- I'm about to make Molly's chocolate/ginger/banana cake and will wear my Randwick apron.

    - Christo, I hope you have been swimming everyday, chatting up the pool attendant en francais and all.

Thanks so much for the update.

  2. A new entry was long overdue. Even if we are not traveling around on our bikes or buses and trains anymore, we are still doing plenty of nice things. How beautiful are those strawberries? Yuuum!!!

  3. I also love the pic of Team Bordeaux and Team Chardonnay. Lolo wonders what diriculous thing Christo has just said.

And speaking of tops, I'm wondering if Chris' stylist has been sending him the wrong size jumpies or if you are just stealing them ...

  4. aah, a good eye as always!!
The jumpers are the right size, I just like to cross-dress once in a while, especially when I get sick of the 4 things in my diriculously small wardrobe. And yes, we are well matched!

  5. There's a package on the way to you to help remedy the above dilemma. It has gone off the US Postal Service radar for now but we know they always arrive.

I understand that all my 1980's maternity wear in the débarras does not really help solve the wardrobe problem. Does Papa still have his sewing machine?

This week I was planning to start putting together a birthday package for you as well as a couple to your baby bros who always appreciate treats.

  6. Please Laura start wearing your mum's 1980s maternity wear!

  7. I have actually considered it... I am getting pretty desperate to change from my 2 interchangeable outfits... Glad to read on your blog that you were able to stop wearing your cycling jihab. Hope all is well in Turkey and that your fourth hand is healing nicely.

  8. Yes, good luck to Marcin. Larry and I visited your highly up-to-date blog Rose, and gasped when we read about the break. We then proceeded to chuckle when we saw the charming photo at the Iranian hospital.

It reminded me a lot of Laura's very first childhood friends in Jordan. Not many young kids around on the beach so her pals were generally men with moustachios who were ever so gentle and occasionally asked to borrow her in order to endear themselves to shapely Scandinavian tourists who melted at the sight of an adorable toddler in their strong arms.

The maternity wear is nothing but the best: Laura Ashley, my dear, and in fact normal dresses that suited my expanding needs at the time.
